Indications for Tympanoplasty
Perforated Eardrum: A tear or hole in the eardrum caused by infection, injury, or chronic ear disease.
Chronic Otitis Media: Persistent infections of the middle ear that lead to eardrum damage and hearing loss.
Hearing Loss: Significant hearing loss due to eardrum perforation or dysfunction of the middle ear structures.
Reconstruction: Repair of the eardrum and possibly the ossicles (tiny bones in the middle ear) to restore normal hearing function.
